Hello All,
I am in possession of a Minolta SRT 201 with the following lenses-
Minolta MD Rokkor-x 45mm f/2
Soligor 28mm f/2.8
Zykkor MC Auto 80-200 f/4.5
Can you tell me what it is worth?
Last overhauled in 4/03 and in good working order.
Thanks
Arthur

Not much. The 45/2 is very common. The offbrand lenses go for way less than Rokkors. Somewhere south of $100.

Check eBay complete auctions. Go to advanced search and check the box that says "completed listings" and search each item individually. If the price is in green, it sold, in red, it didn't.

I think that anybody can do this now and you don't need to log in.

Not much... my advice: get some film and start shooting. If you manage to take a single decent photo with it, it's worth more than the little money you'd get from selling.

I recently got a SRT 101 (some dents on the outside, but in good mechanical condition) with the 45mm/2 and a cheap 28mm/2,8 for two rolls of BW400CN... so about 10€ for camera with 2 lenses. I don't know about 201s, but the 101s don't bring much more than 20€ around here, even in good condition... they're great little cameras, but very common und somewhat underrated because the light meter needs (rare or unobtainable) mercury batteries.

The 45mm/2 is a very common kit lens and usually cheap or offered for free with the camera. Don't know about the 28mm, but I guess it's one of the cheap ones that are also sold as Hanimex, Walimex and similar brands. I'd say, it's 15$ if you're lucky. The Zoom is probably the most expensive in the whole set, but I have no idea, how much exactly. 40$ for everything together is a price I'd pay, but some people might go to about 80$ - Just my little guess.

I recently got a 201 kit with three Minolta lenses, the instruction manual, and a bunch of extra caps for $150. (I don't shoot Minolta, but I couldn't pass it up as a camera for a friend.) I have got them in the past (101 and 100) for 10 to 25 dollars a piece in thrift shops, in need of light seals (but still light tight).

In short, it isn't worth much if you sell it, but it could be priceless if you use it.
