Hi, I'm looking for a clean working SR-1 or SR-7 camera body. I have a 58/2 lens and would like to pair with an era matching metal body.

I can also trade with the following:
- Minolta XG-1 body with MD 50/1.7 lens. Body BGN (dry light seal foam), lens EX condition.
- Minolta 35-70/3.5 zoom lens (non Macro) in EX condition

Well, there were six versions of the SR-1, and four versions of the SR-7, over quite a period of time, and the lenses changed as much as the cameras.

Plus Minolta never made a 58mm f2 lens, just an f1.4 and f1.2 versions. The f1.2 was never made during the production time of the SR-1 or SR-7. It appeared in 1968, two years after the SRT101. The 58mm f1.4 appeared in June of 1965 while the final models of the SR-1 & SR-7 were still being sold. Perhaps you have a 55mm f2 which was a less expensive lens sold with the earlier SR-1 -- or even the harder to find 53mm f2.

Oh, I should have clarified that the lens was Haiou-64 58mm f2 (a Biotar copy) made by Shanghai Seagull in Minolta SR mount. The lens is excellent, but Seagull SLR not so. Thus I would like to find a newer version of SR-7 or SR-1 that can be more reliable and enjoyable to use with the Haiou-64 58/2.
