I'm selling this gorgeous Minolta Himatic 7S Chrome body camera. Beautiful, but only for aesthetic purposes. The leaf shutter is locked up, and the meter has not been tested. Right now, this is eye candy only. It would look good on a shelf. I would put it up on my shelf, but I have too much up there already. $20 plus $12 shipping CONUS.

If I wasn't already well camera-ed up, I would take this and figure out a way to get it working. The 7s was a great camera; when I sold cameras at Eaton's Fairview in 1973-74, we sometimes had trouble keeping them in stock.

I had high hopes that I could get this working, but once the leaf shutter froze up, I gave up those aspirations and relegated it to the camera shelf category. But yes, I was very hopeful that it would be a working model...I certainly would have held on to it for a while.

Greetings,
Before you give up all hope. I had one of these at one time and it had shutter problems also. Lo and behold, I found that if I pushed "up" from the bottom of the lens as I released the shutter, it worked, every time. If I didn't, the shutter would not release. Perhaps an Aaron Rodgers "Hail Mary" pass, but thought I'd share.
Cheers!
Russ
