I picked up this Minolta Hi-Matic E with Rokkor 40mm f/1.7 not long ago from an antique store and have not film or battery tested it.

But, it looks to be in nearly perfect condition. The battery compartment has no corrosion and everything is very clean, moves smoothly and works as it should. However, without the batteries I have not been able to test the shutter or the meter. But even the self-timer is flawless, so I think it's a case of finding the right batteries and you'll be good to go. Rangefinder is well aligned and very clear (as you can see from the pictures).

Having done a bit of reading about these cameras, they're a lot like a Canon GIII or a Yashica GS, except that the Minolta is fully automatic; no control over aperture or shutter speed. Though the Minolta has a very cool provision for using flashes.

$35 shipped within the US, and international shipping is fine by me. Or make an offer.

Thanks!
