For sale - one Minolta Hi-Matic 9 with excellent glass and good body, however it may have a sticky self-timer.

This is currently a manual only fixed lens rangefinder, a model one step up from the famous Hi-Matic 7 with a faster, up-graded 1.7 lens.

The meter is not working in this camera but should be easily fixable by any reasonable adept tinker. Two small wires were pinched when the front unit of the lens worked itself loose at some point. The lens was repaired but the meter stopped working because one or both wires to the meter sensor at the front of the lens were damaged.

With the meter working, automatic exposures are possible.

This camera uses 55mm filters and the original Minolta metal lens-shade comes with it, however the thread for the original tightening thumbscrew is striped and so it needs a slightly larger thumbscrew.

There is no case or lens cap with this camera.

Sold as is, $40 plus USPS postage.
