Metal hinged snap-tight lens cap for the original Autocord. This will probably fit any other Autocord model, and likely numerous other TLR models accepting Bay I accessories (it fits my Rolleiflex). This quality lens cap is not easily found today. Price: $25 plus shipping

*SOLD* Metal vintage TLR shade from the 1950's made by Minolta for the original Autocord. This shade should also fit any other TLR that accepts Bay I fittings. The original finely crafted leather case is included. This item is not easy to find, especially with a case and in this condition! Price: $40 plus shipping

I have the Autocord lens pair and the Bay 1 bayonet feature, with the 'snapping' lock, will help keep it from dropping off while on the move.

If you're not using your Minolta Autocord, with a really good pair of lens caps, this is the one accessory you should buy, for that system.

Eli, yes you are certainly right. The cap design, which is essentially a copy of a late model Rolleiflex cap, is quite clever and easy to use while providing iron-clad protection of both lenses. The Autoreflex cap is also made to high standards like the Rolle cap.
