Minolta A-2 rangefinder repair?

I just acquired one in very good condition, except that the rangefinder rectangle is so dim as to be useless. It would be nice to have it repaired. Stephen Gandy at Cameraquest says he doesn't work on them, so I'm at a bit of a loss who to turn to. I doubt there's anyone left who even knows this model, but I hope someone here has a tip on some guy who does. Gorgeuos camera, everything works, except focus.

The semisilvered mirror needs to be cleaned or replaced. Pretty easy repair.
