Hello everyone, some of you may remember me talking about cleaning the lens of a Minolta 110 slr...
Well the lens is now perfectly operative, however the shutter is now jammed half-way.
I read on a yahoo group that someone else had a similar problem in 2008 and haven't heard any advice other than to replace the batteries (Electromagnetic shutter).
The problem is the shutter is stuck half way because the batteries were low, however to try and free it I anvanced the film and pressed the shutter release. It got jammed half way and now I cant re-cock the shutter as the film advance is locked.
Is there any way that I can re-cock the shutter without having to dismantle the whole camera to access the shutter assembly?
Many thanks - Mike
