I gave up the glass years ago. We don't put our paintings or etchings behind glass, so why photographic prints? I also exhibit this way.
I haven’t managed to resolve my problem yet, chiefly because the wiring in that part our house is really difficult to access.
Glassless display may be workable if you live in sufficiently sterile conditions, but glass is mandatory here. We live in a rural location and any unprotected print would be dotted with fly spits and thunder bugs within a few weeks.
