i have a few box cameras i want to replace the milk glass/viewers ..

does anyone know if i can just use ground glass, or was there
something special about milk glass ?

these aren't the viewers that are on folders,
but those things built inside the box.

thanks in advance!

Since they are there just to see what you are shooting, it doesn't matter much if you use milk glass or ground glass. You could use matte Scotch tape on plexi glass and cut to fit. The image will be bright and fine grained.
