Glad you had a great trip! It has been 20 years since I spent any time in NZ...I certainly do not remember any bus loads of any tourists back then! I liked working with the Moeraki Boulders at Shag Point -- instead of being on sand, they were on the erosion platform -- many with broken tops that created little aquariums when the tide went out...and nobody about!

And a sunny day at Milford! That was a rarity! Punikiiki (Pancake Rocks) was another favorite place (and Truman Cove just up the road).

Looks like you have a great set of negs to work with!

Looks and sounds like you had a fantastic time. I've never been further south than Christchurch in my short 23 years on this planet, which I think is criminal. But after seeing your photos I think I'm going to have to hire a campervan sometime in the near future and spend a couple of weeks touring the south island.
