I have some of the Mike Ware Cyanotype solution. Printing with it previously, it was giving me lots of contrast, with the paper, but now I am getting very low contrast, it appears to be fogged.

Does the cyanotype solution lose contrast as it ages?
its about 6 months old now.

It could also be the paper, same brand but probably a different batch, BFK Rives.

Thanks in advance.

Never add this problem with MK cyanotype. May be the paper or the solution . You can get some contrast by adding few drop of 5% bichromate to the solution.

Thanks, probably the batch of paper then, the joys of alt processes I guess.
