I've actually been pretty busy since my last blog post and that's a good thing as it's all been solid progress (even the things that sometimes feel like backwards progress...). First up, I've completely pulled the machine apart and re-built it with the custom PCB's I covered in my previous post. The new PCB's look great, clear up a bunch of wiring mess and work perfectly (the eagle-eyed might find one bodge-wire but that's pretty good for a first revision of a board).
