There's a review in today's (2/11) Boston Globe by the writer Mark Feeney of the photography show at the MFA, called "Conversations". The lead photo is the wonderful Weston portrait of Tina Modotti -- enough for me to want to visit. Anyone else? See review http://bit.ly/fwNf0M : "Images talk to the observer and each other"
"Haass (one of the two the curators) hangings are no less shrewd than those in Conversations. Note the deadpan hilarity of placing Georgia OKeeffes oil Grey Wash Forms alongside five Charles Sheeler nudes. Apparently, topography and anatomy can converse, too."
