I have borrowed an Agfa lsolette folder from a friend, and loaded it with film (Fomapan 100) yesterday. Loading it was relatively easy, but I have a doubt when it comes to advancing/winding the film. I advanced it until I saw an arrow in the window, and then a little further, where a large black dot showed up. Do I need to advance it further, or am I good to go?

Just to clarify (sorry John!). You will see 1 in the window without the # sign. This is an American convention used instead of No. (for number).

We don't use the # here. Not sure about other countries this side of the Atlantic though.

The dots usually diminish in size leading up to the number. The roll of film that's sitting on my desk at the moment has four dots leading up to the number.

Thanks guys. I really look forward to shooting my very first roll of medium format film.
