This company has launched several production runs of new lens on kickstarter.
Is this hype or are these lens truly new and offer some optical quality not found in Nikon or Zeiss ? They are not exactly inexpensive.

They are "unique" designs. I have an old version of the Primoplan 58/1.9 and Trioplan 100/2.8. They are good to very good lenses for their "drawing style" but I do not personally value the unique aspects enough to spend the money required for their new lenses.

In the begin the company even aroused hope at former Meyer specialists for jobs...
I see them as a company to state their newest creations, even to bitch about but not to consider buying from.
