Shortly I acquired a Metz CL 45 flashgun on ebay. I use the flash wit a Zenza Bronica ETRSi and a SCA386 adapter. This works very all very well with alkaline batteries and the appropriate holder.
With the flasgun also came a battery holder that contains NiCad cells. That one doesn't work any more, it takes no charge. Has anyone ever tried to replace those cells wit NiMH cells? I figure that NiMH would give better performance than NiCads. I have found a way to open the holder without destroying it.
Any help much appreciated, Hans

I think it would work just fine as the characteristic of NiCad and NiMH are quite similar only the charging is different.
