I can measure one later today for you when I'm off work. I don't have calipers large enough to provide an extremely accurate measure, but I can get you a good approximate number with a ruler and provide some photos. Would that help?

Hi! That would be awesome- I've noticed amazon has various sizes of round wood discs, and am wondering if they could be fashioned into boards for that camera without too much fuss... And it would be the only reference to the size of Meridian round boards on the entire internet :D Thanks!

The two examples that I have are basically identical. Both are made of an alloy that looks like Aluminum or something similar. Both sides are generally flat and coated with a black crinkle (or wrinkle) paint texture. This center portion is just a hint higher (thicker) than the outer bare metal area. This may or may not be easily seen in the photos. Each cut out has a detent space.

Overall Diameter: 4 inches
Thickness (at the edges): 1/16 inch (0.0625")

The one that came with my camera suffers from a rather shoddy DIY epoxied threaded-flange monstrosity for who knows what lens/shutter combo. The epoxy is harder than the surrounding material so I doubt I would ever get this thing off without destroying the board. I happened to have just one lens that would fit the hole on the only other lens board I've found so far. It mounted nicely after I filled five or six holes someone drilled in that board for various other flanges.

If I were to attempt a DIY replacement, I'd probably start with an aluminum disc given how thin the material is along the outer rim (locking surface?)

Hope that helps!

Wow thanks so much for your time!
These wood discs look to be a perfect match, 4" x 1/16 thick, and you get 80 of them for $15. Although certainly not as robust as aluminum, it seems worth a try.

You are very welcome! I'm surprised that I actually had something helpful to share with someone for a change. Usually twelve other knowledgeable-type folks respond with answers before I've even read a post. 😀

Those wooden discs look like they may work out nicely. Please share photos of your final results. I'd be interested to know how they turn out.
