What is a circuar focusing screen?

What is meant but erroneously translated (by them or by you):

Condensor comes with accessory ground screen in holder, for diffusing the illuminating light a bit.

AgX is right, of course. The Czech language version of the website says "... s kruhovou matnicí" which translates into German as "mit kreisförmiger Mattscheibe" and should have been rendered in English as "with circular groundglass screen".

I know that site since long, actually run by Meopta themselves, but I so far did not realize that the Czech version has more information...
