Ok, we need someone to step up to the plate...and schedule a shoot in RI...

if i wasn't "booked" next weekend, and then away until july,
i would step up to the plate .. but seeing i am unavailable until
mid-july ...

The next three Saturdays I am booked. Sundays may be OK. After June 30th I have more available time.

you can say that again ...
one or 2 on ever corner ..
it's starting to get weird ...

Back when I lived in RI, you could have said that about "tap rooms" (especially in Pawtucket!). I'd rather drink my carbs than eat them!

Now in the Nutmeg/Constitution State. I'd be up for trip to RI, although my availability will be hit or miss, especially first part of the summer.

Yo!! from Ipswich ... holding the northeast Mass. corner down.

Now in the Nutmeg/Constitution State.

You have to love a state named for ripping people off. The sawdust nutmeg conspiracy!

Grew up there, if you want to say I ever grew up.

I'm in Arlington, MA (suburban Boston).

I've seen your shots of Mass Ave, the Greek Church and the little restaraunt near the center. Good work, Robert. I teach just up the hill in Belmont and used to live in East Arlington. My wife worked at Quebrada baking.

I think the next step is for Whitey to give us the ok and available date to visit w/(several bottles of) wine & cheese!

Doing great! The whole surgery has an anticlimactic air. Boston is a great city in which to need a doctor. You can't swing a dead cat without hitting a specialist! -- of course, I don't swing dead cats as much as I used to either...

When I can drink the wine I'll want visitors. Not yet -- still on barbituates. They cut a hole in your head, you get headaches.

Was this the intended result of the surgery?

Great to see you on and feeling good Whitey!

Not really sure, to be honest. I didn't think the Humane Society was involved but you never know... There are cat fanciers everywhere, though they often prefer the living, breathing type.

No cats were hurt in the surgery or by this (pre or) post surgical patient... honest.

Good to be back Bjorke... Nice to be the cause of some humor as well!

What a nice surprise!!!

Greetings Whitey!

It is great to hear from you, and to know that you are definitely on the mend, you've been in my prayers, best wishes for a complete and speedy recovery...

Blessings, Krystyna

Be sure you're swinging a dead cat, because if that sucker has even one last breath on the last day of his ninth life he's gonna mess with your karma for the rest of your days!

Whitey, I wish you the speediest, headache-free recuperation possible. I also hope you're not allergic to cats!

Nope. I've had cats (or they've had me) for most of my life. I do believe in the old saying, by the way -- Dogs have owners, cats have staff. I love the arrogant little beasties.

Headache gone, by the way. Amazing! They whack a great big hole in your head and you're fine in a couple of weeks. Modern hospitals, and the folks who work in them, are pretty damn astounding these days.

Still trying to get time in the darkroom, but I have taken a few self portraits with the Speed Graphic. I'm planning on going back to painting today.

Great thanks to all of you who have wished me well during this ordeal. The good will of friends pulled me through. I'm sure of it.
