Hi all. Any interest in a Melbourne gathering some time in the not-too-distant future? Please reply with preferred dates and places. Personally I prefer some time before the end of February and a location at or near the CBD.

I would be interested also CBD would be great. I have always wanted to do some of the arcades but there are lots of other nice places in the CBD & gardens depending on the day.

Okay, sounds good so far. Welcome, w9cae, I see this was your first post. Yes, the arcades sound interesting. Some of the lanes are pretty amazing too.

I agree, Mick, that if the planned day is going to be a hottie, then we'll make other arrangements.

Once more I will say that I would like to be there .....provided I don't get overtaken by other events. Saturday is better than Sunday, any weekend except 20-21 Feb.

Yep I hadnt noticed my post count there. I posted over in the UK forum looking for some Gnome enlarger bits. Any Melbourne folks who have some or know where some are give me a holler.

I'd also be interested and am happy with whatever day is chosen. Also, for those who were interested in putting in a bulk order for film and paper, etc. it might be a good time to organise the financial side of things or, if we get that sorted before the meet, a perfect opportunity to hand out everyone's goodies!

This is the first time I've logged on for about 6 months - been busy building a new house - so what a nice surprise to find there's going to be a 'gathering' in Melbourne soon - the end of Feb. is good for me - as soon as I k now the exact date I'll try and book a cheap return flight for the day.
