G'day all,

I'm clearing out some excess and no longer needed gear, I thought I'd quickly mention it here in case anyone was looking for anything. I haven't taken a proper stocktake yet, but from a quick look I reckon I'll have:

About a dozen 36" (92cm) brollies, 8x Bowens wSilver/White, 4x generic brand without silver, all unused.
Bowens 3 section 'twist-lock' backdrop/cross bars.
A stack of light stands in various degrees of crappiness.
Backdrops, a variety of muslin and canvas, average size would be roughly 4'-6' wide x 5'-8' tall, most with mounting hardware.
A few old style Pelican cases, roughly the size of the modern 1500's and 1600's.
I've got a cupboard full of Manfrotto tripods too, #058 size, mostly useful for parts, but I haven't had a proper rummage yet.
Probably a few other odds and ends, I had a box of new focusing screens for Bronica's, can't find them at the minute though.

Please get in touch if there's anything you need and we can work out what it's worth, unfortunately I can't just give it all away!

I don't think I'll be moving any lights, I've got half a dozen little 250 Esprit's, haven't touched most of them in a couple years, but like to keep them as a backup, just in case, you know!

Apologies, I meant the umbrellas and stands, that sort of thing. My brain is on strike again this week, evidently.

Might be interested in the larger backdrops, particularly the canvas ones since I want something I can paint on to. Possibly the cross bars, but I don't know the Bowens type.

Add a few softboxes to the list, small and large, I'll measure properly when I get a chance to set them uo

I'm after a new capacitor for one of my Multiblitz Compact Profilite 200 flash units, anything suitable in your stash of stuff?

Alright, six months later and I've finally had a chance to properly dig through the stores! Sorry Colin, no capacitors. I'll of course make a donation towards Apug from anything that sells here.

Tripods:
Manfrotto 058B - Three of these, this is the model with auto legs, I use one of these as my daily, it's super handy. These rrp around $550, make me an offer. On one of these, the legs are totally stuffed, on another the legs are good but the centre column has dropped out (repairable, I just don't have time), the third is in ok condition, but the lowest section of the legs are missing. To give you an idea, I generally don't even use the lower section of mine and my camera sits about chest height.

Manfrotto 074B - Fairly compact heavy duty tripod, in working condition, just missing the handle to wind the column. Still windable, just not as quick.

Manfrotto 475 - Aluminium (not black), centre column doesn't wind (still moves up & down though, perhaps the gear has just dropped out?), one of the lower leg locks is missing.

All these tripods would be great if you're keen to give a little attention to fixing them up, some (ie, the 058B with lower legs missing or the 074B) would be useable as they are if you didn't mind the limitations. Make an offer.

Manfrotto #127 Dolly - x3, all useable, a few bumps and scratches from regular use, a bit dusty and the odd piece of gaffer tape for decoration, but all working as they should. These rrp around $200, would like $100 ea, but open to offers.

Manfrotto #222 Joystick Head - x3 of these as well, no plates included, just the classic pistol/joystick head perfect for 35mm, or small medium format (rated for 2.5Kg). Current rrp is $200, looking for $100 ea but again, make an offer.

Still have a few backdrops available too.

The tripod heads I could possibly post (maybe $15 a piece), the reast would be pickup only (Geelong, Vic), or I'd be happy to deliver on my regular jaunts up to the big smoke. Please get in touch with any queries.

Hi Steve,

I'd definitely like a couple. (Mine were ruined in a rain event years ago. I won't go into details).

Let me know how much and postage to Sydney.

Cheers,
Martin
