I've read a lot and seen a lot of photos shot with Ektar 100, but haven't tried it myself, until now. I found a good deal on some 120 Ektar 100, so I bought it and loaded up my Rolleichord Vb. The photos were from last week up in Rocky Mountain National Park and from this morning during a morning snow storm. I home developed the roll in a Unicolor C41 kit.

Here are a few of the photos from the first roll. I REALLY need to start using this Rolleichord more often, I've only shot a few rolls of B&W out of it and this is my first color roll from it. The Rolleichord is no slouch.

Beautiful
#2 is an award winner
They are all wonderful

Enjoy!!

'Looks like Craig/Meeker area - Grand Mesa?

I chuckle a bit at your surprise the Rollei would deliver the goods. 'Haven't owned one, but seen many prints from them. I don't know if all models of lenses perform so well, but one comparison had the crops more crisp & detailed than the zeiss 80/2.8 on a regular basis. Another measurement of LPmm from a different source agreed. Your little black box is very serious (sirius?) medicine. 'Hope it makes you giggle on a regular basis.

Why is there a big yellow spot in the middle of all the images?

Thank you for sharing the wonderful snowscapes of Colorado on a beautiful film. It's inspiring.

A rollei, Ektar, and Colorado. It doesn't get much better than that. 8 keepers - great work!

Thanks everyone, glad you like them! I usually shoot large format, but decided to try this out since it is so small and doesn't need a tripod. I'll definitely be using it more in the future.

I think you might be seeing the sun bows in a couple of images. I also am now looking at these on a different monitor and the color is not right on a few of them. I am brand new to scanning color negatives and I'm having a little trouble getting the colors just right.

These are shot in Loveland Colorado, and just up the road from me in Rocky Mountain National Park.

I was a little surprised with this camera because it is so old and hasn't had a CLA at all. I've only ran a couple of rolls of B&W through it, but now I see I need to start using it more.

I got the handle when I used to wheel with a '78 CJ7. I got into motorcycles about 6 years ago and since then, the jeep has been sitting (I need to sell it). I now use a DR650 where I used to wheel the jeep.

Very nice! That makes me miss a snowy winter.

For many years I traveled with a Vb and monopod. That was my favorite camera. Glad to see someone proving that it is highly capable camera when used by a talented photographer!

I will be driving to the snow Saturday to do some offroading and shoot some 120 film.
