Hello,

This is kindof regional question but it would be a bit stupid to ask it at same time under every Euro regional forum.

Anyway, some folks are searching for a way to duplicate medium format (6x6) colour slides, mounted as stereo pairs. Any hints on lab capable of doing this in the continetal Europe or UK? Mounting is not that critical, getting as identical as possible copies is.

This needs to be done for the christmas, I hope i'ts not a bit late already.

Thank you.

Don't know of any lab, sorry.

But the best way to get to identical copies is to order two copies of the original.
There will always be a visible difference between the original and the copy. But (unless the lab tries hard to mess up) not between the copies.

The major issue would be that there is meanwhile no dedicated film produced anymore for slide-to-slide duplication.

You'll need a lab that either still has good stock or is able to get around with the materials that are on offer.
These are either that C-41 print film reversal processed or that silver-dye-bleach film, or working with common reversal camera films.

The Bowens Illumatron slide copier could do 35mm to 5x4 and had a system for allowing a "flashing" type exposure(s) to duplicate using normal slide film. A pre or post flashing of the emulsion can reduce contrast, the critical factor is it's insufficient to fog the film.
