I'm looking for advice/suggestions on options of different 6x9 medium format cameras for mostly landscape photos. I currently have a RB67 and a Rollei but was looking for something in the 6x9 frame to take on a trip. The RB67 is too bulky and heavy to take with. I used to own a Mamiya Universal and liked it but sold it awhile ago. Have been looking at the different Fuji rangefinders and was curious if there's a big difference between the models. Any pros and cons between the G/GL and the GW/GSW models? Any other cameras out there I may not know exist or am missing? Thanks

I have the Fuji GW690 with the 90mm lens, but agree that the GSW690 with 65mm lens is perfect for 6x9 landscape.

If you want interchangeable lens Mamiya Press or Universal, not to mention interchangeable backs. Lens are very good, I have the 55mm, 100 and 150mm, all are sharp with good contrast. Downside is no built in meter, they are heavy breasts. Other option 2X3 (6X9) Graphic, baby speed or crown, or more upscale a 6X9 Horseman. The Horseman has cams for interchangeable lens, while the Graphic or a Pressman have only one cam for the prime lens, but with the ground back other lens can be used. I dont have Fuji, so can only speak to their reputation which is excellent.

I have a Mockba 4 that I am very happy with, considering the low price. I'm not the biggest fan of folding cameras on account of bellows pinhole problems. But it doesn't leak and I don't keep folding and unfolding it.

I use the Fuji GSW690 III for landscape work... just got back from Rocky Mtn Nat'l Park where I used it in tandem with the GW670 II. I can highly recommend the GSW690 III (or model II).
