Is ilford Multigrade Classic a brighter base than Adox MCC110?
I've been using MCC110 a lot and like it but sometimes I'd prefer brighter whites and less warmth. What are alternatives that offer a brighter base than MCC110?

I'd go straight to the FB Cooltone - and if you don't like it, Classic will essentially split the difference. The Baryta base is essentially the same one for both Ilford & Adox (Felix Schoeller) I recall, so any base colour differences will depend on brightener content in the emulsion etc. FB Cooltone is crisp & quite chilly/ steely. It is glossier than FB Classic. Best solution would be to get a small box of each & try them.
