Unfortunately, that same thing came up on the Scan Hi-end Yahoo group about the same time. Even if it is wrong, it should not be repeated, that's how the misinformation spreads. I also corrected that posting. It keeps coming around, and around, and around and really needs to be stomped out once and for all. Maybe in the cheaper scanner this actually applies, but I would hate to think that is really the case. And maybe it applies to cameras as I'm not sure how they deal with digitizing the info from each CCD, but I would hope that again they tailor the analog side so that it takes the most advantage of the ADC.
