My Polaroid 350 is able to stay open maximum 8 seconds. I am thinking to use paper negatives and changing bag. Does 8 seconds is able to properly expose the paper ? If not, do development save me ? I dont know f factor of lens but its a Cooke Triplet and really excellent on real polaroid film. I am thinking to create a low contrast paper negative - if possible with d23- and contact print to high grade and scan also.

Mustafa, 8 sec exposure will work, if the lighting is correct for that exposure. Hmm... let me rephrase that. It depends on the lighting situation, and your test results for the paper/developer combination you choose. You need to make a few test exposures to define what iso to assign the paper to get decent exposures. What works for me(or anyone else) won't necessarily work for you. There are plenty of threads on paper negatives, and a group here that you might benefit from reading. Maybe spend some time at this site for help:

Rick,

I am an member at f295 and if I am not wrong , they climbed the exposure times to 1 hour or less.

Darko,

I was not thinking to use variable contrast paper and I can buy the cheapest paper. I looked to ilford site and I could not point the old single grade papers , may be you can chime the paper name.

Thanks,

Umut

Again, you will have to do your own tests to determine what will work for the gear you want to use. Single grade paper and multi grade papers have similar ISOs and still need to be tested for your personal work flow.
