I am in the postion of offering some prints for sale. I know that there have been print pricing threads here that attract many posts and much discussion but draw few conclusions  so, despite continuing to be unsure about that, I won't start another one. I am also interested in the other aspects of selling prints.

I don't want to go into the framing business but since my prints tend to be non-standard sizes, I feel that I ought to at least offer to sell them matted and mounted. I've been cutting my own mats for years. Also, at some shows, people may buy the framed and matted print off the wall.
I am wondering if anyone has any thoughts or suggestions on pricing for matting/mounting when sold with a print? Also, what is a fair mark up on a frame, considering that I have purchased it retail and done a small amount of labor in assembly and cleaning etc.?

I don't base my framing costs on what the frame and mats cost, but on what it would cost me to have someone else do it. Then I multiply that times 125% for the final cost - I also look at what others are charging for similar prints.
