Not sure what caused these marks on some HP5+ developed in Rodinal, as I have been doing for years. Dust spots are from the Q&D contact scan.

Looks like drying marks to me. Alternatively it could be due to problems with pouring the developer into the tank too slowly or another cause of uneven wetting, but my money's on drying marks really.

Look like pressure marks to me. However I got no idea how such could be created in practice...

Looks like drying marks to me as well. Try a wetting agent and/or distilled water for final rinse, or a different combination 9f the two than you have used.

Just echoing the drying mark theory. Any changes to the water used in the final wetting agent dip? Sometimes tap water can have dramatic changes to mineral content. I have measured up to 30% variation over the duration of a month. Air humidity may also have an effect on the drying process.
