Hi,
I searched so much in internet but still couldn't find my answer so I found it the best to start a new thread in here. ( actually I've posted this topic a couple of weeks ago in photo.net but i still could not find my answer ! )
I'm planning to use flat 6x7 cut film on my mamiya rz but i found out that theres no holder for RZ, so i should use RB holders using a "so hard to find" G adapter.
But the question for me here is that when using an adapter there will be an extra space between the lens and the film, so logically I wont get infinity focus with my RZ lenses ! ( "to the best of my knowledge" the rb lenses here work perfectly since they need an extra 7mm for infinity focus )
My second question is that, even if I forget the infinity focus the exact distance between "lens and film" and "lens and ground glass" wont be the same ! so I can never trust the ground glass to get the right focus !
since the adapter is so rare I had no chance to test it, so I would be grateful if anyone can help me find out if I'm right !
thanks

I have the adapter and at least 5 of the cut film holders, I have never used them but would be happy to have them find a new home. I expect the registration of them is set up such that infinity is no problem, and the image focus coincides with focus on the ground glass screen. I can test tonight maybe and see. I also have the ground-glass back that is designed for the tilt-shift RZ67 stuff, which might be useful at least for determining focus coincidence.

Hey !
thanks for your reply
That will be very nice of you if you tell me about the function when you have some free time.
I would not even wait for a moment to be their new owner if I was in any other parts of the world but unfortunately I'm from Iran so there will be millions of problems in my way.(

I could probably ship there if need be. I expect USPS would send to Iran. I will try to check functionality of the focus distance soon, I expect it is the same as the regular rz67 back registration distance, it would be unusual for it to be otherwise.
