Mamiya TLR sn and age

My C220 has a standard 80mm lens with serial numbers (both lenses if the set) which start 75. I understand that 1975 could be the year it was made. My newer looking C330f has lens serial numbers beginning 95, could this have been made in 1995? When were they discontinued?

Serial numbers don't map to years of production. At least not in the simple way you were hoping.

The best source of information (as far as I know):Dead Link Removed; check section 2.6, "Dating lenses (and bodies and accessories)".

The last production on the Mamiya TLRs was over 10 years ago. It is hard to determine an exact date - there was a lot of 'new, old stock' around for a while.
