Mamiya Sekor 80mm Leaf Shutter question...

I just recently did a trade with a fellow APUGer and I ended up with a nice selection of Mamiya lenses and a good quality body.

I have a question about the Mamiya 80mm 2.8 leaf shutter lens. The leaf shutter can be cocked to preview the image (to actually see an image in the viewfinder) and Ive figured out how to do that, but is there a way to keep the leaf shutter cocked and locked in the open position so it does not have to be manually cocked after each subsequent frame?

Im a little confused and dont want to fool around too much with this new (to me) lens and body combination for fear of messing something up.

I am not sure what model camera you have. It looks like the power winder option has the ability to control the cocking of the leaf shutter. This may pertain only to newer models of the lens/camera. Otherwise, you have to manually cock the shutter each time. I have to do the same on my Rollei SL66 with leaf shutter.

Glad to help, I guess the 645Pro has a power winder that attaches to the lens and can cock the shutter.

My problem is forgetting to cock the leaf shutter and getting the focal plane shutter's setting instead....

yeah see thats my quandry
I have the 645 pro and it has that little 6 pin (?) connector between the lens and the power winder..... I have the connector and connect the lens to the power winder but it still doesnt cock the leaf shutter no matter what setting I put it on.
I must be doing something wrong apparently.
