Hello, I need some help with overexposure line on the half of the photographs, I'm making with my Mamiya RZ67. It happens with both lenses, I'm using. Unfortunately, I have only one film back, to compare results with another. Local service have some lack of repairing film cameras experience, but in case of finding out the reason of this issue, they are ready to help. It would be a miracle to find out the reason of this issue and repair my camera.

Agreed, likely an issue with the back. Is it in the same place for verticals and horizontals? If so, almost certainly the back.

Like the others said. It's a light leak. I had the same issue once. It's not a difficult repair to do yourself. You should be able to find a replacement kit on eb*y, or at least, a sheet of foam that you can cut to size. Just take your time and make shure you claen everything well before installing the new foam. I purchased Pro II backs after fixing the Pro I back. Now I have all Pro II gear, body included. Great camera, and worth the effort to fix.

Like said earlier, you probably need to replace the foam seals on the back if you have a Pro l back. If you later buy additional backs for your RZ then look for the later Pro ll backs that halfaman talks about. They will fit your camera too.

Yes, same place in portrait and landscape positions of the back.
I was thinking about buying Pro II back, nice to hear it fits Pro I body!
Thank you very much! I haven't knew about materials used in the film back's seals.

Seems like a light leak. I would suspect the back only if you have a Pro I version, Pro II backs don't use foams and it is extremely difficult they have light leaks,
a little correction  Pro II backs do have foam; on the inside of the hinge is a small piece of foam.

I don't know about that. I just checked my 3 pro II film backs, and read my owners manual and there's no sign or mention of any foam at all. If you have one with foam installed, could you show us? Thanks.

Jon Goodman may have a foam kit for the camera. I believe he's a member here.

I'm curious where you're reading in the 'owners manual' about any foam ? My backs are loaded with film  so in the near future I show you a glimpse of my foam !
