You can MOUNT it, but I do not believe you can operate it from RB in any way, shape, or form. I may be wrong as when on the market few years back going between the RZ/RB an RB package showed up and ended my comparison search. If there is a way to mechanically open RZ lens shutter then perhaps, but I thought it is electronically controlled from the RZ body and there are no mechanical provisions for any shutter function..

If the RZ67 lens mounts onto the RB67 camera it MIGHT be possible to install a cable release into the mirror-up socket on the side of the lens to open the shutter and keep it open until the N/T lever of the RZ67 lens is moved back to the “N” (Normal) position.

You’d set the lens’s N/T slider to the “T” (Time) position. If this works the same as the RZ67 camera, you’d stroke the charging handle to cock the spring that powers the mirror and shutter-firing mechanism of the camera.

When the shutter button on the front of the camera is pressed, the mirror snaps up into the picture-taking position. Then, the plunger of the cable release is pressed to open the RZ67 lens’s shutter. The RZ67 lens will stay open mechanically (no electronics involved) until the N/T slider is moved from the “T” position to the “N” position. You could terminate the exposure this way or by capping the lens.

To understand how this could work you should consult both the RB67 manual and the RZ67 manual.

RB67 Pro-S manual (page 28 of the manual, or page 30 of the PDF file):

RZ67 manual (page 29 of the manual, or page 31 of the PDF):

I don’t have an RB67 camera to test this. It’s possible that there is something that would prevent this from working. An RZ67 lens works this way on an RZ67 body, even with the battery removed—which I have done.

A greater problem is the difference in flange distance between the two systems. The RZ67 flange distance is 105mm, while that of the RB67 is 111mm. Thus the RZ67 lens would begin extended 6mm beyond its infinity position with the focus fully retracted. That would significantly limit the focusing range.

For example, with a 110mm RZ67 lens mounted on the RB67 body and the lens fully retracted, the focus would range from 2.13 meters to 0.38 meters (subject to first nodal point of lens).

All things considered, the use of an RZ67 lens on the RB67 body (if it can be done) is impractical.

Wouldn't it be less expensive to find an RB lens for your RB67? Perhaps I've misunderstood what the objective is.
