Mamiya RB67 Professional Kit For Sale
I think $525 is a square deal. Buyer pays shipping (shipping from 16001). Paypal is my method of payment.
- Body - Great shape, mechanically. I've had no issues with the shutter release or shutter crank. There are cosmetic scuffs and scrapes which can be seen in the photos. The rotating back mounts, dismounts, and rotates without issue.
- Lens - 90mm f/3.8 - I've had no issues with shutter speeds and I have used the flash sync successfully. There is a good bit of cosmetic wear on the lens and one significant scrape on the top of the barrel (about 3/16 of an inch). The filter threads are in great shape. There is some dust, which I've labored to show in the photos, unflattering as they may be. I've never seen anything in the images. In one of the images, it looks like there might be some haze or fungus near the edge of the inner element group. The detents are confident and well defined, but lack the crispness of a lightly used vintage lens.
- Lens Hood - It's got a bit of dry rot on the rubber where it joins to the filter ring. I handle it with care, not knowing how fragile it might be. It is a Mamiya hood. The male threads are in good shape (for mounting to the lens) but the female threads are fawled
- Waist level finder - I bought this from an ebay seller in Japan. It was listed as "near mint" owed to a very small blemish on the left hand edge when looking at it when closed from above. Otherwise, it is difficult for me to find something that would disqualify it from being "like new". The springs and doors are in very nice shape. The fresnel glass is in really nice shape (I've never touched it with anything but air from my rocket blower).
- Eye level prism finder - Near flawless.
- 120 Film Back - Functions well. The light seals could probably be refreshed. I've looked at my negs and haven't seen any leaks.
- 220 Film Back - "as-is" "parts only". In fact, someone had removed a few screws from it and it's not functional.
- Polaroid Film Back - I invested a lot of time cleaning and detailing this film back when I picked up this kit. It was a mess. I bought some film for it and never got a good image out of it (seemed like a big light leak... or perhaps the chemical was not distributing fully to the edges... my friends liked the washed out/vignetted images I made for them, but it was very dissatisfying for me). I've included the last 2 "One Instant" color film cartridges.
- Left hand grip - In fine shape, but it needs a 1/4"-20 Female to 3/8"-16 Male Screw Adapter to mount to the camera body. I've never taken the time to buy one, thinking one would fall from the sky at some point. The camera sat on a tripod with a 3/8 stud, so...
