Mamiya RB67 Light Seal Kit

I know this has been asked before but the answers seem a bit dated so I wanted to check who's currently selling light seal kits for the Mamiya RB67?
I need it for the rotating back plate and also one of the film backs.

I did see this... not sure if they're still in business?

With respect to my RB67 I negotiated a deal with Horst Wenzel. I did all the necessary work to clean out the old seals, and for a reduced and reasonable price he put in new seals as part of a basic CLA (more C than L or A).

I used the Asahi set for my RB67 Pro S recently, and it seems to have worked out well. I cleaned out the old seals with an x-acto knife and q-tips and denatured alcohol. Then I briefly soaked the new seals with adhesive backing in water and applied them with the included wooden skewer-like tool.
One of my film backs is of the newer Pro SD variety; I would recommend using those as they don't have foam light seals and will simplify things considerably.

Hi, I don't know if it's OK to join that thread but this is my first post here, so hello everyone.
So, I have some issues with my recently bought Mamiya RB67. Yesterday, I developed my first HP5 roll shot with this camera and unfortunately some overexposed strips occurred.
Maybe someone has an idea what's wrong? Could it be light seals or something else?
First and second frames are OK, rest has black strip.

Does anyone know if the non-John-Goodman RB kits contain the block of foam for the mirror? When I did mine, that was badly dried out. If I buy another RB I'd like to be able to renew the mirror foam as well.

dreh, looks to me like a dark slide that is leaking light. If it was the mirror it would be 90 degrees to what you are seeing. If it was the revolving back, or film back, it would show a leak coming from the edge of the frame. The leak is in the film back (for example, the dark slide) for sure, because it is across the short side of the film in both portrait and landscape orientations.

The bars being that big n bright, it shouldnt be hard to nail where its leaking.

Its easy enough to do a light leak check. Using a bright light, put your eye to the back of the camera and watch for light inside with the lens closed.. mirror up and mirror down. Then fire the camera a few times to see if the mirror is hanging.

with the lens off, do the same thing again with the film back on n eye in the lens mount. move the light all teh way around the camera n back n see if any light is leaking in.

extend the bellows all the way out, move the light around as you watch for leaks inside. Usually the corners develope leaks.

Dark slide would show much higher up in the negs. BUT I do suspect its your back leaking since your negs show images have the same bar in the same place even when rotating the back... if it were the mirror, that bar wouldn't move with the image. ALSO.. the indorr shot doesnt have the bar... says its gotta be directional as well.

Take a look at the film back face... the plastic film mask... it has alot of screws holding it on. Are any screws missing or lose?The door seals good or look rotted or missing?

It could also be the rotating back seals where teh fiom mag mounts. Are they rotted or missing?

Seals can be bought from Microtools in sheets. YOu just need strips to do them all on this camera. You dont need special shapes cut although these kits may have them cut that way.
