Mamiya RB67 Fair price?

Hello,
I am in the process of selling a Mamiya RB67 Pro S with the following pieces:
1-body in good working light tight condition
1-Mamiya Sekor 90mm lens with pristine glass. body caps and hood
1-Mamiya Sekor "C" 180mm f/4.5 with pristine glass body caps etc.
1-Polaroid back
1-Beattie interscreen 6x7 grid (H) split image
1-Waist level finder
1-Prism finder, not metered
Any help with individual piece pricing would be greatly appreciated. Would it be best to sell as set or as pieces?

Let me suggest looking at KEH in Atlanta to check their pricing. but I wouldn't sell through them unless you plan to trade, in which case you can get a good discount on the new item

Offhand I am guessing:

body+ WLF + prism + 90 lens + screen= $600 or so
180 lens= $250-300
pola back=$100

So, I would sell the 180 lens and polaroid back separately.

As one who has spent a fair bit of time in recent months keeping an eye out for various bits for my own RB67 Pro S system, I'll chime in...

As always, selling as a complete package is most convenient for the seller if you can find the right buyer and are willing to (generally) accept getting less than you'd probably make selling separate pieces. If you're not in a hurry I think you'll see a better return if you part it out.

If you haven't already done so, I would suggest do a search on ebay for the various items to get a sense for what they usually go for. Also, check out KEH's listings as well.

My recollection of some recent auction activity for a few of your items:

RB67 Pro S, w/WLF, 120 back, and one lens (usually 127mm or 90mm, C or non-C): ~$350 (sometimes under $300).
180mm C lens: ~ $150 - 200.
Beattie screen: last week one went for about $80.
Non-metered prism: ~$75

Of course on ebay, it can be all over the map price-wise... a 250mm non-C went for $42 the other day, then another for $89, etc.

KEH's listings are also helpful in showing a range of reasonable prices for gear in various conditions (according to their ratings system, anyway).

Pro-S with 90mm C & WLF, 220 back and Lindahl accordion shade=$198
Pro-S with 180mm C & non-meter Prism, WLF, sports finder, Beatty screen, motorized 6x7 back and Lindahl=$234
12 Pro-S backs, 7 120 & 5 220=$241
2 645 Pro-S backs=$120
127mm C with Mamiya Yellow and ND filter=$81
150mm C with all three SF inserts= $112
65mm C with shade=$191
45mm C=$278
50mm C Shift/tilt $204
300mm C with UV-2 filter=$187

All eBay--all VG except four backs that I had to replace light seals. On one body, I decided to replace the bellows for $27 just because and recover all surfaces with green natural leather.

These hardy beasts are being dumped by CP's and PP's--what a benefit!

Pragmatist is correct.

Keep it. It isn't worth selling. 7 months ago I bought a professional with 2 645 backs, 90mm C lens, WLF... $220.00 in great shape. A month later a ProS body in perfect shape $65.00. Lens.. dirt cheap.

Keep your rb67. It's a great camera you won't get your money out of.

I agree, keep it. I bought an RZ67 ProII, a 180 lens, 6x7 120 back and a waist level finder all as a backup for a combined total of $560. My other body was bought brand new and I can't tell them apart in the bag without checking the serial numbers...EC

I wish it was mine to keep. Selling it for my photo teacher. He does not care really how much he gets for it. In return for selling it he is giving me a Durst 4x5 enlarger.
