Mamiya RB67 bellows

Hi,

I recently bought a RB 67 on eBay, "MINT" The seller contacted me about his finding of pinholes. He agreed to cancel.

Is this camera's bellows prone to problems?

Anything is prone to problems if it isn’t cared for properly.

My RB67 (Pro S model, purchased from Japan about a year ago) doesn't have this problem, but any bellows can develop pinholes, especially at the corner folds, depending on storage and use conditions and age, as well as the materials used in manufacture. Rather surprising, in this case, that the seller spotted pinholes before shipping the camera, vs. you finding them after it's traveled to the opposite side of the planet. I would certainly consider buying a different camera from this seller.
