Yup, I guess myself and many tourists would have breakfast at the hotel and go out with their camera and return after dinner. With this New Zealand road tour I am doing, I'm from NZ, I used the RB at strategic points for a sunrise but when I was in a busy city I left it in the trunk.

Well, compared to a 4x5 view camera, a RB-67 is not a bad choice for a starter camera.
Just have to accept and deal with the bulk and weight.

My 4x5 might be as heavy as a RB-67, but it IS a heck of a lot bulkier than the RB-67. And I have to use my heavy tripod and head to stabilize that bulky camera. And each film holders only holds 2 sheets of film. I need 4 film holders to shoot the same as you shoot 8 shots on a single roll of 120 in the RB-67. And I need a changing bag if I want to reload the film holders, in the field. So in comparison to a 4x5 view camera, the RB-67 seem easier to use.

Granted there are other choices for a starter landscape camera.

BTW, the 4x5 is a home studio or close to car camera. It is too bulky and heavy to carry any distance. I tried carrying it ... ONCE. It needs a wheeled cart (or a porter) to move any distance.

Went for a Bronica GS-1. I'll have to hold off on projecting until I get the (apparently very rare) 6x6 back for it, or else cut slides down.

Any recommendations on a tripod? Right now I'm looking at getting a Manfrotto MT190CXPRO4 aluminum tripod with an MHXPRO-3W head. Reasonably priced, seems capable of handling the load, and not ridiculously heavy (5 lb camera plus 7 lb tripod and head is still heavy for a hike, but I asked for it!).

Edit: Nevermind, there's another thread that has just the info I need.
