I somewhat disagree with apuguser19.

KEH has an SD body right now for $105, a 90mm for $137, and backs are about $50.

I'd buy from KEH long before some random ebay seller (and I'm a seller on ebay since 1999). And I guess I'm spoiled, as I bought my kit for a lot less.

I did not even think about KEH...I will take a look.
But in pieces like that, I would also need a view finder, and preferably an SD back, which the EBay camera has.

Yeah, just noticed it didn't have a WLF. I just think there are better deals out there. The KL lens is supposed to be better then the C or N, but all of them are so good I couldn't really imagine seeing a difference.

If you haven't bought from KEH, don't be scared by anything rated as Bargain. KEH's BGN is usually better then ebay's 'Near Mint'.

Not the best, not the worst deal, but it is a KL lens and those were the most recent.

KEH gives a warrantee though. Six months I think?
The KEH combo Kirks mentions doesn't have the New B+W filter or hood with it so
to me it's a wash.

*** The seller's willing to consider offers, I'd go with ~$300 & go up in reasonable(to me,$20?) increments.

What's that on top if not a WLF?

I think the confusion is the eBay camera has the WLF clearly pictured and someone else was talking about the KEH camera, which would not.

Oops... I think you're referring to the KEH camera. In any event, you can probably pick up a WLF for 25-30 bucks. I wouldn't let that be a reason not to purchase the KEH body. I probably purchased 6-8 RB items ( backs/lenses/ finder) from KEH. Always better than described.

Now that we have that cleared up.....I am, kind of, hung up on the SD Back. Reading about these over the last few months, I have always read guys mention to get as new a RB as possible, and that the SD Body AND Back make for a better seal.?

If that eBay setup was offered by KEH, it would be an excellent choice, at an excellent price - because of KEH's reputation and your right to return it if not satisfied and the warranty.

IF it is in as good a condition as it appears to be, the eBay price is good.

You can get a good deal on an SD 220 back from KEH, if they have any they will be cheaper than 120.

Sorry for spreading my confusion.

the ebay price is fair.... as long as its in working condition. be sure to ask questions about functioning and fungus in the kens so if it's not working or isnt what was promised in the communication, you can send it back.

as the seller noted... read the manual. butkus has it free but a small donation is traditional.

also cock the body and the lens before mounting the lens. if tge camera seems locked up.... DO NOT FORCE IT! STOP N CHECK EVERYTHING FROM THE MANUAL.

regardless if you can find it cheaper from keh... this was a very expensive camera most people couldnt afford not long ago. but keh does stand behind their return policy and have a very good reputation for offering ex cond rated as bgn.

Yeah...the seller says all is good and functions properly.
They are not guaranteeing that it could use a CLA...but that there are no problems.
I always assume any used camera I buy will need to be sent to a tech to be checked out for real.
Anyway...I bought it. I have a feeling there are no major troubles with it.
I prefer to have faith in people...of course, I am disappointed from time to time.
Thank You All

if its repoted as fuctioning but says he doesnt guarantee its in need of a cla may say the foam may be sticky. if thats the case, you could do that youself for a few bucks. sd hasnt got much foam anyway.

enjoy the heck out of it!

Not only that, the 90mm in the ebay listing is the L-A version with floating element (which I guess is a feature in the K/L)

Wow...this "thing" arrived today.
Not sure if Anthem/Blue Cross will continue to cover my Therapy/Chiropractic bills if they ever take hold of this cylinder block from a 70cc Honda Mini-Bike I will be toting around.
Good Heavens...I thought my F2 was a brick...!!

Anyway...go ahead and make fun of me, I am just a beginner...what size Negative Carrier will I need for this camera.?
Is the neg carrier called 6x7 also.?
Thank You

Depending on vintage and country of origin, the negative carrier will be labelled as either 2.25" x 2.75" or a metric approximation of 6x7.

There is slight variation in the film gate sizes of various 6x7 cameras, but most enlarger manufacturers offer a single 6x7 size for carriers.

The cameras are large, but unless you carry multiple lenses and backs, the weight is reasonable.

Thanks Matt -
Will be awhile before I add anymore lens.
It came with a 90, which is probably a decent compromise for a one lens rig...for me...at this point in time.
Thanks Again
