Looking for a copy with good optical quality. I’m familiar with the sieko shutters and will CLA a copy with a sticky shutter. Hoping to spend less than $200.

I had this lens for my Mamiya Universal. Two issues: 1. The giant lenses not centered, whence only abt one half of the frame sharp. 2. the rangefinder-system not precise enough to focus such a long lens, hence impossible to make sharp pictures using only the rangefinder. Note: I've a lot of experience calibrating Mamiya Press rangefinders and felt I had to let it go.

Ha! This all makes sense to me. I could probably just settle for the 250/f8 and focus off the ground glass. But i’d love to find a nice copy of the f5
