Hello! I guess I'm not allowed to post in Classified yet so I'm posting here. Does anyone have one of these they'd be willing to sell? Looking for the C330 specific one, not the original that doesn't fit this camera. I've only been able to find ONE on the web and the seller wants $300 so no thanks. Or can anyone point me in the direction of a possible seller? Thanks!!

Look towards the bottom of this page: http://grahamp.dotinthelandscape.org/mamiyamisc.html
These only make sense (to me) if you need a single cut sheet negative. Otherwise you have the effort of cutting the film, loading the holders, and then processing the single sheets. I was able to get my hands on a set to photograph, but I never used one.

I have one of these backs and no, it isn't a ground glass back. you load the sheet film into special sheet holders and then put the holders into the back. then you pull the dark slide. the next step is to lower the holder to the film plane, then take the photo, lift the holder and put the slide again. it's a bit slow, but it works well. you don't need a ground glass as the sheet sits in the same position as the film. so focussing is as usual.

yes, it only makes sense if you want single sheets. but there is plenty of film that doesn't exist as roll film. so it does make sense.

I would be willing to sell mine, I'm in germany. the snag for the moment is the following: the back is in my french home. I am confined in germany under strict rules. no way to visit france yet. but that will be over in 2 or 3 months...

That would be great! Check in when you get back in case I haven't found one yet.

Oh sorry, didn't know that. Lets hope it stays up!

I have one for the C330. I also had one when I had the C220 and had to get the C330 version when i upgraded bodies. It's a neat thing that allows you to shoot Instax mini.

Really neat idea, didn't know that was possible. How do you process it? Do you just run it through an Instax camera?

it's not me you asked, but I have done it. it's a lot of sleeve work. you put an instax film into a modified holder (sleeve), you expose the photo, you put it back into the instax cartridge (sleeve again). tranfer the cartridge into your instax camera (still inside your sleeve). depending on your instax camera, the photo comes out itself, or you push the button once (still inside your sleeve). and there's your photo, 6x6 format and black margins.

I definitely want to try this if I can ever find one.

Yup, xya is right. The last step of keeping the camera in the dark is optional. I remove the camera and turnon/fire the shutter to eject the frame covering the lens so no light hits film again.

here's two Instax Wides I shot in peel apart holders in a Mamiya RZ and pack film back modified Polaroid 110a (for sale).
