Here I am selling a very nice Mamiya C220 camera with Mamiya Sekor 80mm f/2.8 lens - Im asking $355.00 (see below)
The Camera body: Mamiya C220 with waist-level finder and strap
The lens: black bodied, blue dot Mamiya Sekor 80mm f/2.8 lens
Also included: a Mamiya TLR lens cap that fits the lens and a generic 46mm skylight filter on the taking lens (for protection).
Ive owned and used Mamiya TLR equipment since the 1970s. This body was purchased used about 6 years ago (if I recall correctly) and appeared to have hardly been used before I got it. I bought it to serve as my backup body. It is in great shape - I havent used it a lot, but when I did it has always performed faultlessly.
The lens is also in good shape. I bought it new in the 1970s with a C330. Ive used this lens a fair bit, but it has always performed flawlessly and Ive always kept good care of it. I last had a routine CLA performed on it in or about 2003 and it continues to function well, both on the C220 body listed here or the C330 that Im keeping.
The glass is clean (both taking and viewing) and the aperture blades are snappy and smooth and there is no oil visible on them.
The shutter speeds sound good, although I havent had them checked since the CLA. I have never used M class flashbulbs with the lens. I had never intentionally set the shutter to M synch until I tried it in preparation for this listing. It seems that there is a longer than expected delay when the synch is set to M and the shutter is released.
I would estimate that KEH would grade the camera body as EX to EX+ and the lens as BGN to EX.
I would like $355.00 for this - either Canadian or US dollars (your choice). I wont refuse to consider reasonable offers, but note that KEH is asking for $453.00 for a copy in bargain condition.
Shipping will be at the buyers cost.
The Fine Print:
Payment: Paypal only please. No gift option - I will absorb the cost. Ill also pay 3% to APUG.
Shipping: I will ship via Canada Post from V4K 2Z9, but must insist on a trackable shipping mode. I will gladly ship internationally, but will only put accurate values and descriptions on the customs forms.
All items sold AS-IS. FWIW, I have a few sales here on APUG with apparently positive results, and 100% positive feedback on ebay as mlkingeb (so far, buying only).
