You might try very gently cleaning the contacts on the lens and in the body with a soft cloth and isopropanol. Don't flood the camera, just dampen the cloth and wipe it on the contacts a few times. Don't scrub hard. Use at least 91% isopropanol (available in pharmacies in the US, I don't know about Portugal). DON'T use "rubbing alcohol", that has more water in it, as well as other stuff to make it smell nice.
