Mamiya photographer is Louie Palu, a Nat Geo photographer who, uh, sometimes uses a Mamiya


Edit: Apparently, he has six of them!


Thank you!! I knew it was a Mamiya but couldn’t really tell if it as a 6 or a 7. Now I can search around for some of his work. Tanks, again!

Here's a Mamiya 7 on top of Broad Peak (8,000 footer, 12th highest mountain the world) yesterday for more cool cameras in interesting places

My late friend Bernie Boston, recognized in his lifetime as the dean of WH photographers used Leicas exclusively. He photographed every president from Truman to Clinton. I could pass on those that he considered the kindest as well as the most arrogant presidents, but his observations would not pass the Photrio censors, since Bernie was talking personality and not political ideology. He always gave credit to HST for giving him a break.
