I just purchased a used Mamiya 7 paired with the standard N 80mm f/4 lens. I’m loving this combination so far but noticed a thin, white blemish behind the front element of the lens towards the periphery. I’m not sure exactly what it is, but it doesn’t really look like a scratch. It’s visible under varied lighting conditions from all angles. Based on the images attached below, do you think it’s a scratch on one of the interior elements? If so, will this affect sharpness and image quality?

That little white crescent? Hard to be sure in a photo, but it looks like it might be an inclusion in the cement layer between the last two elements. So far off axis, it should have virtually no effect on your images, especially when you're not shooting wide open.

That looks very crisp, 3-d and solid. Not on the front surface, yes? Any chance it is a piece of something on the back surface? Have you taken a magnifying glass to it and looked very close?
