Got a problem with my mamiya, and need to open it up and have a good look. Sounds like a dodgy solenoid. Does anyone have a repair manual/ service manual? Or be able to point me in the right direction. Cant find anything..

Try Mike Butkus at butkus.org or orphan cameras.org. On his camera manual site under 2 1/4 Mamiya he lists Mamiya 645 repair. It says to write him regarding this ( 20 pages). I don't know if this covers Pro but would be worth trying to write to him I would think.

Just looked around and I did find one on Ebay but it is $60 US plus shipping. Wow for a copy of the original? :-(

I have a problem with my M-645 with overlapping negatives and well as skipped and blanks on the film. I know that there is a "Clutch" and I think that it is behind the advance knob-crank on the right side (when holding the canera lens forward.) Is this something rather easy to do for a cleaning and or repair? -- Thank you.

Do you have any other backs or inserts that you can try, or is the behavior common to a number of those?
