This is the most painful sale of my life, but my car needs a new clutch and I haven't been using medium format as much as I thought I would.. Before you get TOO excited about a Mamiya 6 system with 3 lenses for $1400, I need to let you know that the 50mm lens is not responding with the camera.
Here's the full description:
Mamiya 6 body - light meter is accurate, shutters are good, everything works as it should. Has some paint wear on it and I would says it's in good condition, but functions perfect with no dents, cracks or anything like that. Most wear is on the film advance lever.
50mm f4.0 lens - It is not responding to the camera (the red LED in the viewfinder lights up, indicating the lens is not responding). There is a particle of sand or dust or something embedded in the front element that I have not bothered to try and remove. Front and rear elements have the faintest cleaning marks that do not effect the amazing images the lens used to produce when it was working. They're so faint I can't even photograph them. Basically, I'm giving away this lens with the kit for free. I cleaned the connections and took the lens apart and cleaned it up on the inside, hoping it was just a connection issue, but still isn't responding. I have been in conversation with Vistek in Toronto and they say it is likely electrical and will be about $200 to fix it.
75mm f3.5 lens - Glass is immaculate and lens works as it should. Body of the barrel has some paint wear - excellent condition.
150mm f4.5 lens - Glass is immaculate and lens works as it should. Body of the barrel has almost no wear - mint condition.
I have one hood for the 50mm lens that I used for all of them. lenses come with front and rear caps. Will throw in a Gordy strap with it. Not interested in splitting up the kit at this time, but feel free make my an offer on individual items.
$1400 USD plus shipping ($25 will probably get it anywhere in Canada/USA)
I also have 50+ rolls of Tri-x in 120 expired 2010-12 and another 20 or so rolls of plus-x (exp. 2009), but frozen since purchase and working as good as new with no identifiable base fog. I'll give the buyer the option to have these at $3/roll.
