I purchased another Mamiya 6 folder that requires the front lens element cleaning as it has some haze.
The lens is a coated Olympus Zuiko 3.5/7.5 cm
I can easily remove the front elements, they just unscrew, but cannot dismantle it any further.
I have removed the miniscule retaining screw but the assembly will not come apart by unscrewing or pushing it apart.

Any ideas?

I think that the rear smaller threads is one part and the whole of the chromed piece is another. The threads are at the place you see on the back of the lens where the black and chrome meet. After making certain that any set screws are out, twist off the back piece holding the threaded area and holding the chrome ring. Rear element will stay in smaller rear part and front element will be loose, retained by the chromed piece. Use rubber and such to hold the rear part, nothing metal or such that could distort threads or crack glass. Run some solvent around the back seam if need be.

The couple of Mamiya Six shutters that I have had ... the chrome part on the front was just held on by the single grub screw. Loosen, then pull off ... so it sounds like it needs some solven.

Thanks for the help, mission accomplished.
The two halves of the assembly were really tight to unscrew so I wore a pair of mechanics disposable rubber gloves to increase my grip; worked like a charm.

Merry Christmas to all.
